How to opt out of data sharing

You have two ways to request an opt-out:

  1. Use the online form, if available. If an Opt out form appears further down this page, follow its instructions and submit it. This form may appear only for visitors in certain locations.
  2. Email us if the form is missing. Select the email link below to open an opt-out request, or write to support@smoozely.com with the subject Data Sharing Opt-Out Request. Tell us that you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and its use for targeted advertising. Include the email associated with your customer account or order if relevant; do not send your password or payment details.

Email an opt-out request

If email does not open on your device, you can also use our contact form. Include Data Sharing Opt-Out Request at the start of your message and provide an account or order email only if relevant.

We will review requests received by email and follow up if we need more information. Emailing us does not automatically update the privacy preferences for your browser.

If your browser supports Global Privacy Control (GPC), enabling it can also communicate an opt-out preference where applicable.

As described in our Privacy Policy, we collect personal information from your interactions with us and our website, including through cookies and similar technologies. We may also share this personal information with third parties, including advertising partners. We do this in order to show you ads on other websites that are more relevant to your interests and for other reasons outlined in our privacy policy.

Sharing of personal information for targeted advertising based on your interaction on different websites may be considered "sales", "sharing", or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of these activities. If the online opt-out form appears below, you can use it. If no form appears, follow the email instructions above.

If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will treat this as a request to opt-out of activity that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or other uses that may be considered targeted advertising for the device and browser you used to visit our website.
